Biography
Rozlyn Scott is an Associate Attorney with Johnson, Larson & Peterson P.A., practicing primarily in the areas of family law, civil litigation, and landlord-tenant law. Rozlyn is passionate and committed to helping families through difficult times. She has experience handling an array of family law issues, including divorce, child custody, parenting time, child support, spousal maintenance, orders for protection, and post-divorce issues.
Rozlyn values being at a firm that has such close-knit ties to the town of Buffalo and its surrounding communities. She provides pro bono legal assistance through the Central Minnesota Legal Services Wright County Legal Advice clinic in the area of family law and is a member of the Minnesota Bar Association.
Prior to joining Johnson, Larson & Peterson, Rozlyn served as a Staff Attorney for the Minnesota Judicial Branch at the Statewide Self-Help Center where she assisted self-represented litigants with an array of legal issues, including family law, orders for protection, criminal law, child protection, civil law, and landlord/tenant issues. Prior to her work in Self-Help, Rozlyn spent almost 3 years clerking for the Honorable Joy D. Bartscher in Ramsey County District Court where she gained meaningful experience in the areas of family, juvenile, and criminal law.
Rozlyn received her Juris Doctorate Degree from William Mitchell College of Law in 2015, and her Bachelor's Degree from the University of Minnesota, Duluth. In her free time, Rozlyn enjoys traveling, camping, hiking, cooking, and spending Minnesota summers on the lake with family and friends.
